The She Codes Art Team believes that in order to cause a cultural shift globally, change must start from the bottom of the chain, local communities. Our chapters work to promote STEM education using art for womxn and historically underrepresented minorities in our own communities.

​​We have multiple chapters across the country and have even gone international! If you have a passion for computer science and would like to bring She Codes Art to your community, apply to become a regional director and start your own chapter at home. We’ll provide a launch kit on starting a successful chapter, support, and a community of people who are passionate about art and technology. ​

Advika Jayanti is a senior at Steinbrenner High School. She is passionate about STEAM and loves exploring its application in computer science and music. She has been actively participating in Tinker Mill, Girls Who Code, and Hackathons. She is also singer, training in vocal classical Indian music (Carnatic), and violinist.

Shayla is a senior at Oregon State University studying Computer Science with Bioinformatics. In her spare time she enjoys expanding her knowledge of genetics and its applications in Computer Science. She also enjoys going on hikes, camping, painting, Thai food, coffee and hanging out with her friends and her dog.

Sahithi Challam is a freshman at Interlake high school who has formed a love for computer science and art at a very young age. She hopes to help bring a gender and racial diversity to the STEM society. Additionally, Sahithi plays competitive tennis, loves to bake, and enjoys Indian classical dance (kuchipudi).

Shrimayee Narasimhan is a sophomore at Eastlake High School who is intrigued by the intersection of technology and art. She is thrilled to represent She Codes Art and empower those in her community by instilling a passion for the creative applications of computer science.

Trisha Thonupunoori is a junior at Bellevue High School. She is passionate about computer science, the studies of math, art and technology. She loves creating websites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. She is a skilled Bollywood dancer and has performed at the Kruti Dance Academy and the Indian Anandamela Program.
